Feb. 2, 2021: After being shut down for nearly 2 months, the website is back. Over the next 2-3 weeks we’ll be making a few minor changes. And over the same time we will be uploading major updates of all our Android apps on Google Play. This will include updates of plant names, a few corrections in data, improved Browse text, changes in app titles to help find what you want, and a new Pacific Northwest version with same information as the PC version described just below this.
JUNE 23, 2020: NOW AVAILABLE: PACIFIC NORTHWEST PLANTS A COMPLETELY NEW VERSION OF OUR INTERACTIVE KEYS FOR THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
This version includes nearly all the same species, nomenclature, and geographic range as the new Flora of the Pacific Northwest, 2nd Ed., 2018. At this time, the keys are available only for Windows. Users will find this a great companion to the excellent published Flora.
May 15th, 2020, All PC versions of our keys have completed a major update, reflecting many recent nomenclatural changes for family, genus, and species and menus to help track those changes, and adding over 1,500 new and supplemental plant photos. Note that these updates apply only to the PC keys, not to the Android App versions, The Android Apps are not expected to be updated until later in the year.
Dec. 30, 2017, the “Wildflower” Apps (green icons) on Amazon store have all been updated.
Dec. 20, 2017, all PC versions of our software have been updated. The updates are free to prior purchasers.
Oct. 17, 2017, the “Wildflower” Apps (green icons) on Google Play have all been updated.

Scroll down to our apps with a white icon – they have ALL the plants that grow wild in the app’s state, province or region. Those with a green icon are the wildflower apps, first released 3 years ago. See Flora ID Apps Page.
As of January 3rd, 2017, all proceeds from the sale of apps and PC keys go to support botanical education, research, and development of identification tools. As a 501(c)(3) organizations, all donations as of that date are tax deductible.
